Replication of Dodge Viper: Mazda RX-8

To those not familiar with the name Dodge Viper, you might remember its appearance from the blockbuster movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. It’s that sweet, sleek-looking dark grey race car that drove away when police raided a boat house. Its trademark design involves 2 stripes in the mid area that run from the lowest point of the front and stretches into the entire hood area of the car. We replicated the design using a Mazda RX-8 to make it look like the famous, and very expensive, sports car. Originally, the design is quite simple, but we added a new twist to give it a more modern and sophisticated look. We gave it the impression that it was added by using an uneven paintbrush. The result is a bar with well-placed smudges with blood red outlines. Expanding the concept, we also added the same custom decal to the edges of the headlights and to both sides of the car. This gave a more menacing frontal view while giving an air of power and artistic touch to the side views. Overall, the Mazda became a well-designed Viper.
